Welcome to PHI 169 – Critical Reasoning. The first meeting of the class is Tuesday 27th of January at 3 pm in Carman Hall 350.

For our first meeting, please read the Syllabus and the first chapter of the Lecture Notes that explains what the class is about. We will go over both of these in the first class. I’ll bring hard copies to class.

On Thursday we will cover Chapter 2 of the Lecture Notes. You also have some optional reading available as detailed in the module for this week: Week 1: Introduction & What is an Argument
